Lil Creek is a young aspiring artist from Boulder, Colorado, looking to get his feet wet in the pool of up-and-coming rappers. Molding his craft for the past year, his infatuation with the Hip-Hop genre has grown with each passing day. We got a chance to talk briefly this weekend and here’s how it went down.

Who inspires you creatively when it comes to music?
The top artists I listen to are G-Eazy & Trippy Redd. Both often talk about love, heartbreak, or something meaningful. That’s the kind of message I want to give in my music, with a bit of fun & positive energy along the way.
How would you describe your sound/style?
My sound is relatively conscious rap that makes you think, but you can also just vibe & hear it in the background. A lot of music demands your full attention. My goal is to find a mix between both.
What is the name of your next project? (Tell us about it)
My next single, “Ex Da Sea,” will be available on all platforms starting May 20th. It features an artist named Naomi, who’s also a good friend of mine. I convinced my Jamaican grandpa to record the intro/outro on the record as well.
What can we expect from you as an artist moving forward?
I plan on dropping music consistently every Friday. Expect to see improvement in my singing, rapping, and writing. The goal is to keep getting better & enjoy it as much as possible while doing so.
If you could play one song for a room of new listeners, what song would it be and why?
“Ex Da Sea” will likely be the most popular. Naomi recorded some beautiful vocals on the hook. Not to mention my lyrics & flows are unique.
Is there anything else you would like to share with the people?
I’m just trying to create some good vibes. I appreciate the interview. Everyone relevant, check out my music! Everyone else, have a good life!
