Posted by I recently sat down for a brief chat with the homie Rekage from Team V.I.P to discuss their next project release. For those that may not know, V.I.P is an acronym for Very Important Puerto Ricans and the team consists of Jonny M. Blaze, J. One, Juji, Monolo, and Rekage himself.

No doubt, thank you for having me.
Rap Olympus Media: Let’s get right into it and talk about the newest Team V.I.P release. What’s the name of the project?
The title of the project is Global Warning. We started working on it after dropping The Come Up mixtape. It’s a 7-song EP with nothing but heat on it.
Rap Olympus Media: Will there be any guest appearances from other artists on it?
Nah, it’s a private affair this time around, members only.
Rap Olympus Media: Are all the beats produced in-house? Or did you work with other producers?
Everything on Global Warning is in-house. We took care of all the writing and producing from our end.
Rap Olympus Media: Do you have a favorite song off the project?
Yeah, my favorite joint has to be our next single, What It’s Looking Like.
Rap Olympus Media: What streaming platforms can we find it on?
It’ll be available on all streaming platforms as of next week.
Rap Olympus Media: Do you have anything else you would like to share with the people?
It’s a new year, so get ready for a new era in music. We’ll never stop delivering that heat to the world. We are forever working!
