With so many clones in the music industry, it’s nice to come across an artist who is comfortable in their skin while encouraging others to do the same.

Montie Ello is a rising talent from Illinois looking to solidify a name for herself. The aspiring artist discovered her passion for music early on in life. As a kid, she would dig through her mother’s music collection, taking on the role of in-house DJ while playing her favorite songs at the crib. This early introduction to Hip-Hop inspired Montie enough to begin a musical journey of her own.

In 2020, she released a full-length project titled Ash On My Jeans. Creating a lane, Montie found comfort behind the microphone and used her voice to connect with others. Building off momentum, she dropped a follow-up album in mid-2021 called Pay Attention. With a creative spark set to max, she’s looking to head into the 4th quarter on a high note with the release of a 3-song EP titled Smoke Bou.
