Welcome to the School of Hard Knocks. A place where an artist can gain valuable information while studying the hip-hop curriculum of the past. Having an OG alumnus school you to the game can make all the difference later on in your career. But what you choose to do with these life-lessons is up to you in the end.
New York City rapper Shabazz Martin, stage name Bash Martin, was lucky enough to have such a mentor. At an early age, he was able to soak up the game from his older cousin HousDaBeast and his homie Sean Conn. Studying the way they put rhymes together gave him the insight needed when crafting his own. Hous taught the young artist how to develop his music and pushed him to elevate his talent even further.

Fast-forwarding to today, Bash and Cloutgang Records LLC managed to drop two EPs in just under three months. Born Outta Wedlock (1 & 2), are both currently available on all major streaming platforms, tap in and give it a listen today. When asked about his plans for the future, Bash stated a music video for Water Culture is on the way. Set your calendar and be sure to tune in for the premiere on March 1st.
