Charisma Aaron is a Bay Area native from San Francisco, California. Growing up in a musical household allowed her love of the art form to blossom early on. At the age of 3, she was already singing her heart out at every opportunity she was given.
As she fine-tuned her talent throughout the years, Charisma found herself heavily inspired by Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and other artists from the ’70s. Feeling ready to take centerstage herself, she made sure to keep herself busy in 2020, releasing four singles available on all major streaming platforms.
Checkmate is the title of her latest single. On first listen, the song plays out like a club anthem for the ladies. The ever so confident Charisma delivers a catchy hook over a solid beat that knocks through the speakers. The steady flow and flirty lyrics compliment each other very well on the track, giving it replay value when looking to set the mood and have fun.
