Caper is no stranger to the art form. With over three decades of experience under his belt, the veteran emcee has spent years refining his perspective while staying rooted in the culture. Chrome Rockwell mirrors the same longevity. Beginning his journey as an emcee, he later transitioned behind the boards, where he built a reputation as a producer with an ear for classic soundscapes.
Although the two crossed paths on a handful of records over the years, it became clear that their creative chemistry ran deeper than the occasional collaboration. Over time, their sounds naturally aligned, leading to their first full-length project together, “The Root of All Evil.”
