The Chicago emcee steps into a more personal chapter this time, shaping a project that honors both where he comes from and where he’s headed.
The album opens with “Letter To My Son,” a heartfelt moment that captures the hours leading up to his child’s birth, complete with real audio from the life-changing day. “Letter To My Dad” continues the emotional arc, with Kastro speaking directly to his father in heaven while assuring him that the values he instilled still guide every move he makes.
Throughout the album, listeners will also hear Kastro’s son declaring, “I AM FOREVER,” alongside Trey Dilla’s daughter dropping the official Supreme Mob tagline; subtle but powerful touches that reinforce the project’s generational theme.
Even with the introspection, Kastro doesn’t shy away from the grit. Woven between the heartfelt dedications are street narratives and supreme storytelling, giving fans the duality they’ve come to expect.
