Chicago’s own RedXLion returns from a brief hiatus with a new single titled “Wild Turkey,” produced by Naveisdead. Set to drop November 4th on all digital streaming platforms, this record marks the next pour in his Dark Liquor Trilogy.
For fans who’ve already caught his previous track, “Evan Williams,” expect more of that raw, unfiltered energy RedXLion is known for. The concept behind the series is to create a space where he can rap freely without a clear direction, using the trilogy as a lyrical exercise rather than a traditional project.

The formula is simple but sharp: every song keeps the same hook, switches out the liquor name, and ends with a random jab at a group of his choosing — even if the track has nothing to do with them. It’s unpredictable, entertaining, and 100% RedXLion.
After taking some time off to process a string of family tragedies, RedXLion says this song represents a reset, a moment to clear his head and reconnect with the craft. “Wild Turkey” is the only release planned for 2025, but it’s a bold preview of what’s on the horizon for 2026.
