GARDEN STATE UNIFICATION
New Jersey’s underground hip-hop scene is known for its grit, and rapper Drazmatik is making sure that reputation holds firm with his latest release, “Driven (Alternate Mix)“—a powerhouse track produced by the talented Stan Da Man. After the initial success of the original, Drazmatik aimed to take things up a notch by enlisting a stellar lineup of Jersey spitters.
The remix features Q-Bon, Confucius, Killah Cal, Quiet, TruWerdz, and Pacewon, each emcee bringing a unique skill set to the mic, showcasing the talent and diversity thriving in the Garden State. Add DJ Jay-Ski’s precision cuts, and you have a track that hits with lyrical force and classic boom-bap flair.
This remix isn’t just a posse cut—it’s a statement. Drazmatik’s vision was to unite New Jersey’s hip-hop community, and the “Driven (Alternate Mix)” delivers on that mission. By assembling artists from various corners of the state, the song serves as a rallying cry for independent artists pushing the culture forward.
LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
Riding the wave of the single’s success, Drazmatik plans to shoot an official music video for the release in Newark, New Jersey. With all hands on deck for this monumental occasion, the visual aims to capture the essence of Jersey’s hip-hop scene—raw, authentic, and unapologetically hungry. Directed by Quest, the video promises to be just as dynamic as the track itself, bringing together the featured emcees for what’s sure to be a memorable on-screen collaboration. Set to premiere in mid-April, this visual rollout will add another layer to the remix’s impact.

UPCOMING ALBUM
As if the remix and video weren’t enough, Drazmatik is gearing up to drop his next full-length album, “Heart On My Sleeve,” shortly after. With no official release date set, fans can expect the 14-track project to debut around late April or early May. Entirely produced by Masada, with additional cuts by DJ Jay-Ski, the album promises a cohesive sound that captures the intensity of unfiltered truth.
Unlike the remix, “Heart On My Sleeve” keeps things personal, with minimal outside features. Aside from Ruth Skeffi and Lewis Ray lending their vocals to a few hooks, the album hosts no guest appearances, giving listeners a maximum dosage of Drazmatik’s lyrical prowess.
