Initially conceived as an EP, JRoberts had difficulty trimming down the tracklist and expanded the project into a full-length album of 9 potent songs. The result is a tightly crafted body of work that showcases the rapper at the peak of his pen game.
The hype for “Gift And Curse” has been steadily building since the release of the lead single, “Keep It Moving,” featuring RJ Payne. That track, which dropped earlier this year, set the tone for the album with its aggressive delivery and sharp bars.
