Fascinated by the book early on, the Colorado rapper was amazed at the ideas it sparked in his classmates and the hidden meanings found within the pages.
After hearing the beat selection Johnny Slash cooked up, Ibe Hustles wanted to deliver a powerful analytical project that listeners could decode over time, giving each song unique qualities while connecting them to the same cohesive story. A thought-provoking multi-layered EP, “Lord Of The Flies” is the first official release from the duo but hopefully not their last.
